Job Description: Locally Kawartha Lakes based dairy equipment sales and service company looking for an experienced full time Dairy Equipment Service Person to install, service and maintain dairy related milking equipment. •Complete calls to customers to repair broken and/or malfunctioning dairy equipment •Sell repair parts, equipment and machinery necessary to keep the operation running efficiently •Properly complete and submit all paperwork on a timely basis •Participate in Service Call After Hours required •Must communicate timely and effectively with co-workers

Qualifications: •A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role •Familiarity with Boumatic and other Dairy Systems is preferred •A basic understanding of dairy milking equipment operation, installation and repair •Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record  •An interest in mechanization, processes and systems •Ability to safely and effectively use common hand and power tools •Ability to learn and properly use specialty tools, instruments and equipment necessary for troubleshooting and repairing dairy milking equipment. •Consistently present a professional image to the customer Preferred Skills; •Welding MIG, TIG, ARC: steel, stainless steel, •Soldering: copper pipe •Pipe fitting: PVC, steel, stainless steel, copper, Pex •Electrical: a basic understanding of electricity; use of metering devices •Vacuum: a basic understanding of vacuum •Air systems: a basic understanding of air circuitry •Fabrication: measuring, cutting, coping, etc.
