Job Description: The position of the Business Development Manager is responsible for leading sales and special events, planning and building Bark Lake’s business development initiatives, with a strong focus on customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Oversee the creation of promotional materials, advertising materials and company publications • Remain knowledgeable of current events, products and market trends and maximizes marketing strategies for wedding and corporate business to up-sell Bark Lake services. • Cultivate sales opportunities by fostering and developing business partnerships by liaising with organizations and building future business. • Gather, maintain and utilize relevant market intelligence (analytics, promos, trends) to help create strategic advantages and pricing strategies in the marketplace.
