Job Description: QC Inspectors are responsible for the receiving, in-process, final and first article inspection of all materials and products used in the manufacturing, maintenance and distribution of our products. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector/ CMM Operator will play an integral part to the team. Responsibilities include: • Perform first off, in-process and final inspection on high precision parts, working tolerance within 0.005mm. • Apply geometric dimensioning & tolerances (GD&T) on manufactured parts • Prepare First Article Inspection Report • Use standard hand-measuring instruments (i.e. micrometer, bore gauge, calipers, height gauge, etc.) • Verify parts by carrying out dimensional, functional and visual inspections • Work on CMM machine/ programming with PC-DMIS software using CAD models (revision 4.3 for PC-DMIS)

Qualifications: - Non-Conformance Reports and the ability to devise and plan Corrective Actions a definite asset - Minimum of two (2) years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Experience with Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Naval would be an asset - Must have the ability to read and interpret both Internal & Customer Drawings/specifications - Knowledge of CMM programming with PC-DMIS and ability to interpret CMM Reports - Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs - Self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and thrives in a team environment - Able to communicate issues and instructions clearly, efficiently and in a constructive manner - Ability to monitor and execute multiple tasks in parallel
