Job Title: Communications Tower Rigger
Job Description: Communications Tower and Rooftop Site installations, working at heights of up to 400 feet. Installation of tower accessories and associated auxiliary equipment. Extensive travel to job locations all across Ontario. Working outdoors in all conditions; safely and productively in a team environment producing a high quality of work. Includes use of winches, rigging/ hoisting equipment, network and technology upgrade works, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Days/Hours of Work: Up to 60 hours/week (overtime after 44hrs/wk).
Training Details: Will train for 'Working at Heights' if successful candidate requires it.

Qualifications: Ability to work at heights (in other words, possessing no fear of heights) • Travel working outdoors in harsh climates in a team environment • Preference given to applicants with valid Ministry of Labour Working at Heights Training Certification • Hands on mechanical aptitude, proficient with wrenches and hand tools etc. • Proficient in the use of modern technology, computers and devices • Professional image and good communications skills • Dependability, honesty, physical stamina, mechanical & technical aptitude and being a team player are a must • Valid Canadian driver’s license is required • Must be authorized to work in Canada • A clean criminal background check • Prior Tower Rigging Experience Wireless Experience is considered an asset • Must be able to work up to 2 weeks on the road and up to 60 hours/week (overtime after 44hrs)
Working Conditions: Working outdoors in all conditions - projects in all Canadian provinces and territories both in urban and rugged remote settings.
Physical Requirements: Ability to withstand all weather. Physical stamina is required.
