Job Title: Pest Management Professional
Job Description: We want more than just an employee, we’re looking for someone who will extend the same high level of customer service and dependability our customers expect; and take pride in maintaining our positive image as one of the faces of our organization.A typical day will involve driving to cottages and implementing pest management solutions while making suggestions under integrated pest management. Once trained, you may be working on your own or helping on large jobs with 1-2 other people.This position currently runs from March/April to December with the possibility of extension through the winter. The contract would pick back up in the spring of 2020. We are growing rapidly and if we can keep team members on through winter, we will.

Qualifications: Willing and able to achieve 75% or greater on Ontario Pesticide license tests – Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. for short periods of time Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean driving/criminal record – OSSD – Education or experience in the natural world – hobbies such as hunting/fishing provide great skills for this sort of position – Construction knowledge or previous pest control experience are definite assets, as is familiarity with insect and track identification – Must be comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights and with insects, arachnids and wildlife – Problem solving, attention to detail, customer service and communication skills – Able to work independently and as part of a team
