Job Description: Safe operation of all equipment according to all safety rules and standards. Wear all required PPE specific to the department as per procedures. Able to safely and efficiently operate all Centrifugal Cleaning Room equipment according to current requirements. Maintain full traceability of the product as per ISO standards. Perform minor maintenance such as greasing and changing thrust bearings, as required. Safely operate all overhead material handling equipment. Comply with proper housekeeping procedures at all times. Prepare and install end-plates correctly (blasting, spray-up, install disks, install pins). Build runner-pots and mix wash under the guidance of a senior operator. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications: EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Minimum Grade 12 education required. Lift-Truck Training Certificate an asset. Overhead-Crane Training Certificate an asset. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience with Heavy Equipment an asset. Previous experience working in a Foundry Manufacturing environment an asset. Ability to pass the supplied Math Test. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to work confidently with molten metal Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize your time in a team environment. Ability to follow instructions as provided (priority lists, How-To instructions). Demonstrated willingness to learn to operate CC-Pouring machines. PERSONAL SUITABILITY: Demonstrated positive work record and excellent attendance record. Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job (i.e. Lifting pails weighing up to 50 lbs, Lifting end plates, etc.). Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
