Job Description: KEY FUNCTION: Responsible for the final grinding and chipping of castings through grinding operations to engineering routing standards using equipment in a safe manner to ISO standards. DUTIES: Safe operation of all hand-grinding and chipping equipment relevant to the casting being cleaned. Ensure work area complies with proper housekeeping procedures at all time. Maintain accurate record keeping and reporting of required information on operator work sheet. Advise supervisor of defective equipment or parts without delay. Comply with grinding time requirements set by Supervisor on a continual basis. Perform other duties as required.
