Job Title: Summer Day Camp Supervisor
Job Description: YMCA Northumberland in Cobourg is looking for enthusiastic, creative, responsible, and caring individuals to join our camp team. Job Responsibilities: - Assists in the recruitment of camp staff and volunteers - Provides training to camp staff and volunteers - Provides leadership to camp staff and volunteers by monitoring, coaching, mentoring and providing on-going feedback - Develops, implements and manages camp program content and resources - Ensures the delivery of successful, safe and high quality Day Camp Programs - Ensures Team Lead administrative tasks are completed accurately and on-time - Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive relationship for parents and staff through communication - Work closely with Team Lead, Youth to ensure smooth day to day operations - Assists with weekly off site errands such as purchasing program materials and attending meetings

Qualifications: Job Qualifications: - Minimum 18 years of age - Minimum 1 year experience in a Supervisory role - Minimum 2 years of experience working in a camp setting - Current Standard First Aid/ CPR “C” certification - Experience with children ages 4-15 in camp or educational setting - Experience in program development and delivery - Excellent people skills and a friendly service oriented manner - Strong communication and team work abilities - Must have valid Driver’s Licence - Police Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to first day of work
